About Medhane Alem Association

The Medhane Alem Association is one of our most established community organizations, named after “Medhane Alem” (Savior of the World). Our association brings together faithful members who are committed to spiritual growth, community service, and preserving Ethiopian Orthodox traditions.

Meeting Schedule

When: First Sunday of each month

Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Location: Church Community Hall

Membership

Open to: All adult church members

Requirements: Regular church attendance

Commitment: Monthly participation

To serve Christ through community outreach, spiritual development, and preservation of Orthodox traditions.

Our Activities & Services

Community Outreach

Organizing charitable activities, supporting families in need, and reaching out to the broader Abu Dhabi community.

Bible Study

Monthly Bible study sessions focusing on Orthodox theology, scripture interpretation, and spiritual growth.

Fellowship Meals

Organizing community meals during feast days and special occasions to strengthen bonds among members.

Spiritual Development

Workshops on prayer, fasting, and Orthodox spiritual practices to deepen faith and understanding.

Collecting and distributing Orthodox books, prayer books, and educational materials in Amharic and English.
